Unscripted War: Vietnam
Demo island with released objects and textures as of 2/09/04:

What's in here:
-Some trees, some forest objects. All can be modified in o2, modify and redistribute anything however you want, I trust that there isn't anyone left playing OFP who doesn't know to give credit where it's due.

-A simple island with objects randomly placed in the center-left area. Landscape is about a 1/6th portion of the ia drang valley I'm working on as my main project, part of chu prong. The island only uses SOME custom objects (not nearly enough for a realistic island) so keep in mind a good island would use more of the good already released objects. I have added in Ebud's jungle from his island just released - a sample of its use is on the right side of the island, it slightly overlaps some of my forest. This is NOT a quality island, just a demonstration of the objects. Before you run it, turn your viewdistance all the way down and then turn it up in game.

All objects could use more work on LODs and textures to improve performance and quality, but the final versions will not deviate from these in shape or size. There are too many objects packed together in this demo island for practical use. Ideally, you would want to recombine many trees in O2 into single objects, with LODs that go easier on the AI and your processor. The final island will not be done like this, but rather be much larger objects (many trees in each).

For forest objects, I use a number title system for determining various differences in the overall forest type.
Numbers before the title rank the density of the area intended for them:
1 - densest forest
3 - medium density forest
5 - lightest forest
any higher number is a field but I don't think I put any in here.
The numbers after the title are just any random variations.

Keep in mind this test island is too laggy to mass distribute for everyone to complain to me about.
